Biosketch for
DR. DONNA L. GOLDSTEIN
|

Dr. Donna L. Goldstein, a
respected corporate psychologist and executive coach is the Managing Director
of Development Associates International, a consulting and training group that
helps organizations improve morale, productivity and teamwork. Dr. Goldstein
and her associates work as catalysts, enabling organizations to maximize the
potential of their staffs and boards. She serves on the adjunct graduate
faculty of several universities.
During the past 25 years,
Dr. Donna has trained over 100,000 individuals and provided team-building,
training and consulting to more than 350 organizations worldwide. She coaches
many non-profit Executive Directors, and her unique approach to enhancing
personal vitality and reducing executive burnout was recently featured in
Prevention magazine.
Dr. Donna is very
committed to leadership development and mentoring in the nonprofit sector. She
was one of the original facilitators of the Community Foundation of the Broward
County “Boards in Action” program and has assisted dozens of nonprofit and civic
organizations, both locally and nationally. These have included Habitat for
Humanity, the March of Dimes, Kids in Distress, ArtServe, Hispanic Unity, the
Literacy Coalition, the Urban League and Positive Images. She has twice been
named Volunteer of the Year at the Broward Outreach Center. She recently
produced a series of community outreach programs on African-American and Haitian
Heroes that have reached nearly 15,000 people.
Development Associates
International's clients have included organizations of all sizes, representing
many industries. Among them are Kimberly-Clark, Seiko, MTV Networks, Barclays
Bank, Motorola, Jefferson Pilot Communications, IBM, Cunard Cruise Lines, UPS
and Marriott. Dr. Donna has also provided training and curriculum development
for over 25 universities and school systems, and 45 government agencies
including the Centers for Disease Control, the City of Deerfield and Broward
County.
A frequent speaker and
facilitator at local, national and international events, Dr. Donna's inspiring
messages have challenged such diverse organizations as Bahamas Women
International, the American Press Institute, and the Society for Intercultural
Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) in seven countries.
Dr.
Goldstein holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology and a post-Masters
in Organizational Development. She received her Doctorate in Adult
Education/Human Resource Development from Florida International University. Her
work is featured in 22 books including the Managing Diversity Program in
Twenty Active Training Programs, each of McGraw-Hill's 1997-2005
Training, Organizational Development and Performance Sourcebooks, and
Experiential Activities for Intercultural Learning.
